Disable ProBar Daily?#47

I do not prefer the ProBar, especially at the top. It allows you to disable this in the settings, but I have to reselect this every day! Can there be a way just to turn it on or off permanently?

Sabrina, You can disable the Pro bar in the Right Inbox icon on the top right. Then click on “Configure Right Inbox” and check the “Disable Pro Bar” button

@Sabrina Leal there’s a bug that is causing the issue. We’re working on it.

Any update on this bug?

@Bo this bug was fixed already. You’ll need to update your chrome extension. This is usually done automaticlly but if you restart your browser and if that doesn’t work try uninstall/reinstalling Rightinbox.

Hi! I have tried restarting the browser and also removing/reinstalling the extension. The issue is still there. The Pro bar has to be manually disabled every time one reloads the Gmail page, and for every new tab. :(

@Bo that definitely shouldn’t be happening. Can you email us support@rightinbox.com and we’ll have to look at your specific case.

I too am having the same issue. Bug has not been fixed for me. I tried removing the chrome extension and restarting, and it’s the same issue - every time you reload Google, you have to manually disable the ProBar. PLease advise.

Sorry @Sabrina Leal @Bo. We were able to repeate the issue on our end. We’ll get working on a fix.

Conner will be in touch when the fix is live

Thank you! The issue is not so much the Pro bar itself - but that when activated, it breaks ALL Gmail aliases/(“send as”) SMTP features, and exposes the underlying Gmail address to every recipient.

@Bo @Sabrina Leal We’ve fixed the bug. Mind checking again.

Issue still persists when I reload Gmail. Do i need to remove and re-add the extension again?

@Sabrina Leal I spoke to soon. It’s been fixed but our latest update is in review from Google. They usually take 1-2 days to review.

I’ll let you know as soon as the update is ready for download.
